These will be pair #6 if they work out. They run big for some reason. My regular Born shoes are all 7.5 and these work well in a 6.5. They are just over 12 inches tall in the shaft. They are described as "mid-calf" but are closer to knee high on short me. The black ones look a lot more wrinkled than the brown ones. Will they still work with skirts? They actually fit my calves which is a challenge with short athletic calves. </p>
