Hair cut is way better and it's growing in nicely. Still looks fab and he's all set for his next cut second week of September. I manged to talk him into 'pre-booking' his next appt. by saying, "Well, if you like it - when you go to pay, you should book your next appt. for around six weeks later." It worked </p> <p>I think this might be the end of Great Clips for DH - yay!</p> <p>Too cute about your sons - that they stuck with the salon after all. It *is* worth it. She had them at the shampoo and scalp massage! Way better than the usual chain places he'd go to. Really not that much more expensive either. Well worth it. I'm just glad I finally convinced him to try it. I don't think it was the expense, it was more like he didn't think he should go to one of these 'frou frou' places. After all, a haircut is just a haircut, right? At least, this is what he was thinking. As I said - the cut is way better. He's looking all "GQ-ish" all of a sudden. :)</p> <p>I keep teasing him that he's "too sexy for his wife" and so on. I used to love that song back in school (what, my age is showing, did you say?)... </p> https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/just-for-laughs---finally-convinced-my-dh-to-go-to-a-nice-salon#post-998233 Sun, 04 Aug 2013 02:43:26 +0000 velvetychocolate 998233@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ <p>It took me awhile, but I finally managed to convince my husband to go to my hair salon for his hair cuts instead of the usual "Great Clips" or what have you. </p> <p>I recently went for a hair cut, and while I was on my way, I asked, "Do you want me to make you an appt.?" and somehow managed to convince him that the scalp and neck massage during the shampoo (never mind the better cut itself) would be worth it. </p> <p>Went for my hair cut on Wednesday morning, and managed to get him a hair cut appt. on Friday (his day off). </p> <p>He comes back with a super-stylish hair cut, and saunters into my office....singing, "I'm too sexy for my car, I'm too sexy for my clothes" and so on. </p> <p>It was *hilarious*. </p> <p>I added, "I'm too sexy for my wife, I'm too sexy for my life..."</p> <p>We had a good laugh about it all. We even sang, "I'm too sexy for my dog" and so forth.
