But because of the strong associations with the early heyday of lululemon etc, I just could not shake the feeling that I was wearing something totally dated. And that made me feel frumpy, even though the proportions were once considered so much more flattering than skinny leggings. I’ve since put a big hole right in the rear, doing a pandemic backyard fence wallsit. Since then my 15 year old has expressed interest, which I knew was a sure sign they were just about to be huge again!</p> <p>The OG lulus were expensive but practical in some ways. And now they are called that or bootcut/flare leggings. &nbsp;<br />When i was actually practicing yoga i find they great for beginner and standing poses, but problematic for headstand etc because the leg would slip. I cannot imagine wearing them for Pilates.
