I was trying these on for fun, more than for serious shopping. Just getting an idea of what works or doesn't, and why. My sweater collection appears to need a little refreshing, so I've been trying on a bunch and taking pictures for a change, just to challenge my eye and my preconceived notions of what works on me. I default to V-necks and non-boxy shapes, so I just want to keep my mind open. If I'd gotten overwhelming raves on something here, I might have gone back and investigated further.</p> <p>The man coat really doesn't have a defined waist at all -- it's very straight. I think the color blocking actually makes it look a little more like there is a waist. I wasn't in love with it on me, but thought it was worth posting. </p> <p>I liked the sweaters more, but not enough to make the leap. kkards, I love that Vince color block sweater. There's a turtleneck version that I really like, and this sweater reminded me of it, but at a more reasonable price point. I might try on the Vince version if I see it. I also like the one you posted. I'm unsure of the size though -- I'm usually between a 6 and an 8, which puts me right in between a S and M in that sweater. I suppose I could order both...</p> <p>And darn it, I want that snake print Equipment sweater in blue, but cannot find it in stock anywhere, much less in a size that will fit me.
