But I was browsing through some old travel pics and had a laugh, did I really wear this out in public? What was I thinking? It's ALMOST as if my outfits ruin the happy memories, but thankfully I have a sense of humor. </p> <p>I can't pretend I wore this because of lack of effort or budget. I was already spending quite a bit. This is also not THAT long ago (2014-ish), so I can't say I was young and stupid either (hah).</p> <p>I feel I've already come a long way, and now I'm even more exited about striving for better style. As often is stressed in these parts of the web: Style takes time. So I am patient.</p> <p>1-2: My DH treated me to a trip to New York. I mean NY! I actually really tried to bring my best clothes, I guess I wanted to look sorta "hip". And I needed comfortable clothes for walking around all day. I cringe of the fact I wore leggings as pants.</p> <p>2: A really nice trip. Why did I think wearing this old sweater full of pills was acceptable? And I need to never wear sneakers again.</p> <p>4-5. Amazing scenery! But what on earth is that outfit? The jacket doesn't even fit! And again with the sneakers... ugh. </p>
