A lot of junior items are cheap for a reason. They are cut very rectangular with few seams, come in tarty colors and patterns, and are made of the cheapest possible polyester.</p> <p>I think juniors is completely acceptable if the cut allows for curves and is tailored, the color and pattern have some sophistication, and the material is quality. For example, I purchased a couple cotton sundresses from Macy's and you'd never guess they were juniors. A big problem with junior clothing for me is the usually horrible quality. They just aren't worth it. Even Target junior fashions seem to be made with inferior materials compared to the regular women's section. As I get older I really think quality is very important for your look. Then you can throw in the occasional discount piece and it's not as likely to be noticed.<br /> The polkadot dress is cute on you for the right occasion. It and the cardi don't scream Juniors.
