My hair stylist deserves all the credit for the hair. Even one of my barre instructors teases me that she wants to see me with messed up hair in the morning. Usually if I can blow it right and straighten I can get 3 days out of it- a definite win. </p> <p>Suz- I'm glad you noticed the texture in the Anthro top. I am definitely trying to tune into that especially since I do a lot of solids.</p> <p>Tanya- I think 7 was was my favorite of the bunch, maybe because the shirt was new. 1 &amp; 2 items are old favorites and probably 3+ years old.</p> <p>Angie- no cropped white jeans or others to hack. I really have a pretty small wardrobe and tend to get rid of things too quickly. Trying to quell that habit. Thick ankles too and find crops tricky at best- I will keep trying! Glad you liked my plaid dress!</p> <p>Rachylou- that top in 8 is an old favorite from Old Navy! It's French terry and just the perfect weight.</p> <p>Aida- thank you, sometimes I think light shades are tricky. Trying to work more with my makeup- lipstick really helps me from not feeling ghostly. The pants in 8 are cotton ankle pants from Ann Taylor. Since June 1 I've been tracking my clothes and better yet taking photos (never occurred to me to do before YLF). I'm at stay at home mom so usually in my barre/dog walking clothes in the morning and then shooting for regular clothes for the rest of the day. Even though we live in the city, our neighborhood is much like a small town and I'm always running into people. I am trying to be much more conscious of the image I give off in my everyday life (although I know people are so busy with their own lives they aren't caring what I'm wearing!). </p> <p>Most of the clothes are pretty typical for me. Days 4-6 were in the 90's. Like Angie's post this morning, unusual for PNW and I kind of melt above 85. 4 &amp; 6 are actually the same dress different color (they become lower cut as the day goes on-sorry!). Day 5 is WIW for hosting a neighborhood party. Pretty Suzy Homemaker/Cathy Country Club but I'm ok with that. Plaid seersucker probably not the most flattering but I was comfortable and cool for the day. Day 7 is a new top from Anthropologie that I like quite a bit. I definitely need more warm weather tops. Day 8 I felt kind of 'eh' in. And 9- house wear until we head out later with friends.</p> <p>Thoughts, suggestions? I guess more than anything I'm just trying to be more aware of what I'm wearing and finding holes (which to be honest is casual wear- but that's a whole other post)! </p>
