THANK YOU!  You are all so kind.  And confidence boosting :).  I think I need to get more white into my winter wardrobe.  And I can't tell you how happy I am everyone likes my HL tee.  Kiwigal, I don't think I was consciously trying to do a "column of colour" this week, but it is something that I do play with sometimes... it helps to slim my swimmers shoulders! Sterling, interesting comment about the bathing suit look.  I hadn't thought of it before, but I see exactly what you mean.  I don't think it does show like this IRL, as you can see the sides of the sweater when you're in motion.  But it sure does front on!  Re my navy vest, I do really like it, but agree it's is hard to style.  I've only worn it twice, both in much the same way (different white jeans, different navy/white striped tee, but same look).  I don't have a lot of navy for summer, and while I'm totally happy to wear black and navy together, I prefer to try to lighten things up a bit more in the summer rather than purposefully layer two dark colours.  I certainly intend to keep it though, as it's fun and different, even if it'll never become a "workhorse". lyn67 on "June challenge, week 4" https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/june-challenge-week-4#post-1514528 Fri, 03 Jul 2015 12:18:30 +0000 lyn67 1514528@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ Nr. 7 is my fave, such a fab color, fabric and cut- but I like them all! Included the maxi, which is hard to style, but you did it well! It's all clean and neat, lots of whites, and occasional pop of color, which I'm attracted towards these days, too! Stop shopping 2. Wear my new clothes.  3. Stop going out of the house in my around-the-house wear. And how did I do for this last week?  Well, for #1, I did order a pair of navy sandals.  This is a HEWI for me, and I could have waited, but I didn't see the point... I'm not convinced they are going to be keepers, but I'll reserve judgement until I see them on my feet. 2.  Great! 3.  I don't seem to have any photos of my evening/errand wear, which means that I either didn't change, or didn't go anywhere.  Or that I forgot to take photos :).  But I think I did ok, at least I don't remember thinking "oh oh!".  1.  The jean jacket is sort of new, but this was really an opportunity to wear my maxi dress, which I seldom do.  To my DD's Grade 6 "graduation" ceremony. 2.  The new long navy vest, worn with a different tee and jeans than last time...but same idea. 3.  My Helmut Lang tee!  Worn Friday night, to have a couple of drinks while DD was at a G6 dance.  Kept the jacket on all night. 4. To work... a new J Crew linen tank. 5.  Keeping it real - I went for a run while DD9 was at soccer. 6.  To work, the new EF sweater again. Not shown:New green stem tee, plus denim shorts (another seldom worn for some unknown reason - I like them, I suspect it's just that denim shorts are heavy and too warm for true summer wear.. for me) Felt pretty good - I was happy to get some new things out for wear #1, as well as some other new things, and older things, out again... So there you go.  Any comments or suggestions are welcome! And I do think this exercise has been good for me.  I've had a mind shift in terms of enjoying what I have, and seldom mindlessly cruise websites.  I hope to continue this through July.
