I am trying to only edit out pieces that really don’t work for me - fit or style- or that are not in good shape - to be recycled or are only fit for the rubbish. The ones I am just a bit sick of are still often useful and honestly probably not desirable for others.</p> <p>I wore a lot of denim with a knit top and a scarf in winter for a while but I don’t want to wear that any more. I find a challenge makes me rethink each piece and gives them longevity I hadn’t initially anticipated. My challenge for July will be to work with my random bits of blue, from light blue to navy, and see how they work with my existing collection of open work knits. Maybe the plaid too- perhaps not the charcoal. Yes it was a good distraction to shopping to mix and remix. And a good way to really wear my clothes which is always my goal. I also tried to add third pieces.</p> <p>I found the challenge relatively easy to achieve but definitely liked some outfits more than others.</p> <p>What did I learn?</p> <p>- I am into simple looks right now - bold colours or shapes, but minimal accessories and less pattern.<br /> - I have a great winter shoe capsule now for my needs - I am really happy with it. Two pairs of boots here are from 2018 and they still work for me. I am really happy about that.</p> <p>The last three pics are from other outfits in June - two for dinners out and once to a meeting.</p> <p>I enjoyed the challenge and it helped distract me from shopping and other things.</p> <p>Thanks for looking! </p>
