The waist didn't vary that much for me, it was the rest of the slouchiness that varied. Be aware that they STRETCH like mad with wear (and then shrink in the wash again). My normal size is a 2/26. The 4's were clinging to my narrow hips for dear life and are probably Angie's preferred fit, but I don't want to wear a belt and I'm afraid they would slip. The 00's fit like a relaxed high-rise jean; I mostly tried them because I was curious how large they ran vs. "normal" jeans.</p> <p>Like Transcona Shannon, I had to roll these 4 times to get the length depicted below. But I think they might have potential with just one or two small rolls as a full-length jean over boots, so I don't know whether the regular or petite length is best.</p> <p>Pictures: #1 is the size 4 and #2-3 are the size 2. I would go with the 2 to buy, but right now the price is still too high for me for an untested trend. </p>
