Melissa thanks, I will look into those.
Angie, I was in Jacob yesterday and did not see anything there. Need to check out Mexx and Esprit (I am not sure we have Esprit where I live), thanks. Should I go for a darker wash (if I find anything) to minimize my bottom part or can I pull off the lighter one?
Renata, I would not even think about Liquidation World! Need to check them out...

Yes, I got mine at the Liquidation World of all places. Original price was 120 bucks and I got them for 19, came home with one pair and then the next day I went and got 2 more. Do you have that store where you live?
It looks like the have a web site, you can check that out if you want. Just google Buffalo Jeans!

Sveta, what about Habitual? This is a premium brand I'd never heard of until I ordered a pair on a whim from amazon. I have been in love with mine ever since, and they were really long on me (I had mine hemmed). It looks like their inseams are normally 34".

I have the Haley flares, which aren't readily available anymore, but here are a few others that look similar:

http://tinyurl.com/68xyk67

http://tinyurl.com/68a75a2

http://tinyurl.com/6cyjt58

Will any of those places ship to Canada?

I think you'll look *amazing* in the right pair of flares!

Celia, I have tried those Gap jeans today. As I thought - too short: they were at least 1" above the floor while barefoot! Ugrr...
So where do I look now????

Taking notes, Sveta. I need bootcuts too and I need the tall length as well which sometimes limits me. I have Gap on my list to check out, I thought all examples look good. You might like a darker wash better, but I think you look great. I have an Ann Taylor nearby so I'm checking out Angie's recommendation. Probably still have to order online, as they usually don't carry tall's in the store.

Thanks, Celia, I will have a look. I do not hold my breath though as they do not come in different lengths and I suspect would be too short for me (I need at least 34" for the heels).

Angie, I understand that you advice me to return these Long and Lean from Gap as they do not work for me, right?
Now where can I find wider and looser flared leg jeans in Canada? I have tried trouser jeans from BR in my regular jeans size (10) but they were too small and they do not have size 12 online. I can check in my local store if they have my size but I am not even sure those jeans are wide and loose enough... Too bad AT is not here...:-(
Any other expert suggestions where can I look?

The Ann Taylor denim trousers look lovely...and long and leans are my preference above...I don't understand the fading on the back? Louise posted some recently that were similar - a new trend, perhaps?

I think trousers are supposed to fit differently than jeans, but you have the figure to look fantastic in either one. Of your jeans my vote goes to the first style. The AT trousers would be stunning on you too.

Marley, me too (I mean confused). I guess as they stretch with wear they should loosen up a bit, maybe?
I was always so shy of tucking into the pants as it seems to me that emphasizes my bum and thighs - something I am not too thrilled about...maybe I have some adjustment to do...

I like the first ones the best - and I must say, you have the perfect figure for the tucked in look! So fab! I am not sure about the tightness, as I have seen Angie write that she prefers them to be loose - I've been a little confused about what she means by that - loose in the legs, around the thighs? I'm just not sure - but, you look great in these either way!

Hmmm...the fading on those perfect bootcuts is just not ideal....Who exactly would want a perfect, uniformly faded square right on their bum? Who? So, I vote for the first pair (I don't think these look too tight, at least to my eye).

I like the long and leans. The rear fading on the perfect boot is a deal killer for me. I think the old ones just look kinda classic, not necessarily hip. At the Seattle swap Angie recommended a medium blue wash for me. I'm going to look for a more pronounced flare though.

Lisa, I do not mind whiskering actually: as my hips are balanced by my shoulders they do not look too big. Now thighs are a different matter but there is not whiskering there :-)
I wanted to try a lighter wash as Angie recommended it for the spring...

It is hard to believe but I do not have a single pair of bootcuts I can wear now. It is especially weird considering that I did not even tried skinnies on until last May.
Explanation is simple: all 3 pairs I owned pre-YLF are too big for me and all new jeans I bought since May were skinnies and leans.
Anyway seeing all this excitement about flares and wide legs I have decided I need to add them too. I have ordered some jeans online and there are 2 pairs which can be a potential "yes".
pic 1-2: Gap Long and Lean's in medium faded wash
pic 3-4 - the same tucked in
pic 5-6 - Gap Perfect Boot in medium wash
pic 7-8 - the same tucked in
Do any of them work for me? Are they too tight - do I need a bigger size?
I am afraid Perfect boot's fading on the butt does not do my rear any favors...:-(
pic 9-11 this is my old pair of bootcuts for the comparison. I think they are too big, especially from the rear, but maybe this is how they suppose to fit now?
Thanks for your help!
