I have a birthday coming up in just six weeks... I'll be turning 37 and I am determined to finally start dressing in a way that really reflects me. I have a good idea of what I like in terms of clothing, but I'm still not always sure how to make sure things fit properly and how to accessorize to make it all look pulled together... so that's why I'm here, to learn from you guys and Angie!</p> <p>As soon as I get the nerve up, I will post pics to hopefully have someone help me figure out my body type. I'm petite... only 5'2" without my normal 2 to 3" heels... right now I'm around 130 pounds which is very heavy for me... I gained 10 pounds over the winter because I guess I didn't realize that my metabolism had finally slowed down after all these years. So I've been trying to eat better and I'll be back to running as soon as we hit steady warm weather.</p> <p>In the meanwhile, I'm determined to work with the way my body is right now... which means embracing my black girl booty for the first time in my life and the fact that I will never have larger breasts... at this point I'm pretty sure I have no intention of buying boobs and that's about the only way mine will be getting any bigger! lol</p> <p>Anyway, I can't wait to get to know everyone. And I hope ya'll don't get sick of me because no doubt I'll be asking for lots of input since it's time for me to build a summer/spring wardrobe. (on a budget!) </p>
