About half of our yearly concerts are outdoors and half are indoors. The 4th of July concert IS fun, we get to haul out all the&nbsp;standard patriotic fare like Stars and Stripes Forever and other marches,&nbsp;and all the&nbsp;services songs from all the US military branches. The only problem is that it is usually very hot&nbsp;and humid where we play so it's a bit draining, plus by the time we finish late in the afternoon they have shut down the&nbsp; nearby &nbsp;popcorn and hotdog stands who's lovely aromas we have been inhaling&nbsp;so we can't grab a snack!!&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Bagpipes sound very difficult to play to me, not to mention that wearing that whole kilt&nbsp;outfit while marching in the hot summer can't be fun :-)</p> <p>Thanks <b>Sterling</b> and <b>Jane</b>!&nbsp; </p> <p>The star top is a Macy's store brand that I like a lot. I didn't think it was particularly valuable (my copy I mean) but I just saw one on ebay for over $100. I don't use much in this capsule on the 4th because I'm usually performing in an afternoon outdoor band concert, wearing our summer uniform of white-logo-polo-shirt, black pants or shorts, and black footwear (pretty boring to show here).&nbsp; The US flag pin is a replica of one given to Jackie Kennedy (US first lady) by the Canadian Prime Minister in the early 1960's. </p>
