<p>I also tried it several years ago. I was working long hours at a new job and had lost a lot of weight so none of my clothes fit, but I had no time and not a ton of money to replace much of my wardrobe. While it was fun to receive the package with a complete outfit in the mail, I also found the quality to be just okay. With a few exceptions, I'm not a super high end shopper but I do try to buy at least mid range quality pieces by looking for nicer items on sale or markdown at the Rack, Banana at Nordstrom, and full price when it is the perfect piece. So I was disappointed to pay $90 for unlined, elastic waist pull on pants, elastic waist blouson dresses in lightweight material, or $75 for an oversized polyester blouse. I do understand why they sell styles like this in order to fit the most people. The clothes themselves were cute and it was fun for a couple of months but I decided I was better off spending the extra time in order to get a better quality items in my price range. I will say the clothes were not boring and it was fun to try some unexpected styles, patterns and colors. I have a friend who tried trunk club and her pieces were definitely nicer.

<p>Thank you., Vildy. My stylist sent me a box of things I have similar pieces already. There were black midrise stretchy skinny jeans, a black and white flannel shirt that was very thin, a very thin itchy black cashmere sweater, a pair of gold hoop Kate Spade earrings, and a mustard light weight jacket. The The pieces were not very good quality with fabric blends of lots of viscose and polyester especially for the price. Because of the stretch fabric things fit ok. I sent it all back except the mustard jacket because I had jeans and a top of a color close to that of the jacket. It has since turned quite cold and snowy so I have not worn the jacket. I think better quality clothing would be a better choice.<br />
I wrote that I wanted no polyester or viscose, better quality, and wide leg, high rise pants or jeans. I also included a list of things I was looking for but, from what you have said, that list will be too hard to find.

<p>From what a lot of them say, there is more satisfaction with the pricier items.&nbsp; Perhaps the gift certificate could be used as an offset?

<p><div><a rel="nofollow" href="https://www.reddit.com/r/femalefashionadvice/comments/dmgenc/stitch_fix_for_fashion/">https://www.reddit.com/r/femal.....r_fashion/</a></div><div><br /></div><div>"<br />
Former SF stylist here! [or plays one on the internet] Fun fact: those cute clothes in the ads are almost never ever actually the stuff they sell. </p>
<p>" <br /></div><div><br /></div><div>"I<br />
use to work as a stylist for StitchFix. So basically we do "hear" what<br />
you say, but are sometimes limited by the inventory available, size, and<br />
the biggest one--price. A client would write asking for specific items<br />
and we just didn't have it and because we would have to create four<br />
boxes per hour, we couldn't just wait it out in case inventory got<br />
better.<div><div>
<p>I think it's a good idea<br />
in theory, and all the people I worked with and for were great women. I<br />
say StitchFix is for women who have a lot of disposable income and don't<br />
like to shop, because you could get great pieces if you were will to<br />
spend $100-$250 on items."</p>
</div></div></p>
