For me, the sandals (which I got last year on sale) are TTS. My normal size is 6.5 or 7 US, 37 EU. These are a 7 and work well for me. They're an older style, though, so might be hard to locate now.  Some people find Cole Haans too narrow, esp. in the toe box (not as relevant in a sandal). I think I could wear this length -I avoid just above the knee ( for skirts and shorts I need shorter or longer) but below the knee seems to work better. Like you and Lisa and Jenni, I like matchy matchy too!  Olive Green, that is so interesting. You know I wore long midi or mid-axi skirts constantly in the 90s quite casually (cotton-linen blends in a gored style) and they worked so well for me then! Walking lifestyle. I still walk a lot but am also on the bike, and there is the rub -- along with the fact that I just haven't found exactly the style of skirt I want in the colours I want. So jorts (or as SarahDB so cleverly reminded me -- pedal pushers! -- it may be! Glad to know they work for you.  Lisa, I took my regular Zara size in these which is one to two sizes larger (for bottoms) than my size from brands like BR, Gap, J. Crew. I love them, but they are apparently not my thing, as they feel like they need to managed, special underwear, etc.  Wider long shorts, or jorts, are the answer. I now have three pair from Uniqlo U collection. They are loose fit and denim and do not cling, and I can undertake all activities. They also replace white jeans (I have 2 pair in cream) for this climate. You are looking for something to wear on your bike in the summer. And you are wearing pedal pushers. Keep them!!! They look great on you. They are an unusual cut/style, so I think it would take wrapping your head around them -- but once you did, they have a high potential to become a default/workhorse, IMO. I like all the ways you've styled them here. I'm partial to outfit #1 just because of the matchy matchy moment with the orange print in the top and the orange sandals, that's so fun! Personally I'm planning to add in some linen pants this summer, since I have a LONG summer season, and I wear shorts and graphic tees often, I was thinking linen pants would mix things up. But I also plan to keep wearing shorts too. I think a pair of jorts is a nice way to mix things up for styling summer outfits and these look like they will work quite well with bicycling. And so is the sheer white t-shirt. I think I need that piece. Honestly, if I had seen these jsorts (I think they are truly culottes too ) in the Zara store I was in the other day I'd have brought them home. Your indecision is exactly why I haven't jumped on these though; in my life they wouldn't replace my usual denim shorts I wear around the house . I can't see wearing them much before June and after mid (maybe late) September, so they have a bit of a specific /narrow use - for me, again anyways. That said, everything doesn't always have to be worn frequently and in all places, so there is that angle to consider. The longer jorts arrived in my actual size.  I apologize for the quality of the photos. It's just impossible to control the light and I can only do so much with my edits. However, here they are.  Threw them on as soon as they arrived yesterday with the top I was wearing....then today trying with a few other things in the Zara box that I'm trying (more on those later).  The fit is good. Quality decent. I like the look of them better than the others. They are fitted on the top and a bit A-line in the leg and come to just below the knee. My late mother would have referred to them as true culottes (something she wore a lot.)  I'm undecided....trying to think where and how I would wear them and whether I would reach for them over other options, and again, whether lightweight full length or cropped trousers might be a better summer uniform for me now than my old standby of shorts/ top.  For years, I hoped to join Brooklyn's skirt revolution but the right skirts never really appeared (or not many of them) and skirts are less practical on my bike (though I can wear them, since I have a low-step). Finally this year it occurred to me: Why not some of the lovely pants that are around? Why not indeed, esp. if I can find cotton/linen blends. Pure linen is too wrinkly, but cotton linen or good quality viscose with some cotton or linen could work perhaps?
