I think they run REALLY big. I am the smallest size there and I know you are smaller than me!

Thanks for the help!

I ordered....

http://www.jjill.com/jjillonli.....&sk=P

in beet. It's pretty casual, but I like that the waist will have some definition and it's Tencel so should drape nicely.

and

http://www.jjill.com/jjillonli.....&sk=P

in the dark brown. I was hoping to find a cord skirt and hopefully this will work.

Ah.... well, that's perfect then because I have relatively small hips and not much of a defined waist. So maybe the hip measurement is a better gauge for what skirt size to get? According to my hips I should get a 2P, and according to my waist I need a 10P. Sigh. I usually wear a 4 or 6 skirt, depending on the brand.

I think J. Jill runs huge--major vanity sizing. I wear a size 6-8 in other brands, but often a 4 fits me at J. Jill. I also find that the size chart is inaccurate, so that it's necessary to size down beyond the supposed body measurements. I don't understand it--sometimes the waistline ease is something like 4 inches!

Yes, overall, but... I also think their clothes are cut for apple-ly shaped ladies.
I size down for their tops and I gave up on fitted pants & skirts at JJill. In my 12-14 size experience, I needed my true size for my thighs/booty and the waist was always gaping.

I've found J.Jill tops to fit large. Is the same thing true of their skirts?
