I tucked them under earlier tonight and did another try on and i think YES they look better hemmed, especially with flats.&nbsp;</p> <p>I don't mind them at the longer length with ankle booties but I'm going south on this trip and there will be no booties! You have styled them really well and I think they work best with the boots in pic 2, but they look good also with the shiny silver shoes in pic 1 (too bad you can't keep them!) and the cage sandals in pic 10. Which I had to get used to, as it's not a direct replacement to my favorite pleather jacket of all time, which eventually gave out. </p> <p>If anyone is interested in this jacket, note I had to size up in it, primarily to fit my waist. The 4p was just too tight to want to even attempt to wear it enough to break it in. So I sized up to a 6p. It is giving as I wear it... not in the waist so much (my widest fit point these days), so I think the size is just right. By that I mean it's getting buttery soft with wear!! Maybe because they are uber comfortable. If I pose straight on in front of the camera I can see they aren't as flattering, but I can move easier in them and in motion (they are comfy enough I am more naturally in motion) I think they look just fine to my eyes.</p> <p>For those of us in office jobs that sit a lot, how pants &amp; shoes look sitting is important. I have to say that these cropped flares "sit" better. The skinnier versions tend to ride up more. These don't so much, because of the flare, which adds ease below the knee. These are 4p BR Sloan kick crops. Pics taken not just with various shoes flat and otherwise, but with &nbsp;various mirrors including hotel and home, and photo at front door that DH (who's 5'11" looking down on me) took tonight leaving the house.&nbsp;</p> <p>I will also add here that several times out and about in these I did catch myself in window reflections -- while in motion-- and think they looked far cuter than when I pose in a mirror trying to take a flattering picture. Which frankly sold me on these, more than the "pose" taken for the camera or the mirror.&nbsp;</p> <p>I really love them with the Topshop silver heels in pic 1 (maybe with different top) but unfortunately those heels gave me horrible blisters so they are going back to Nordstroms. But I like them just as much with these other shoes, including flats!</p> <p> </p>
