Thanks everyone! GG - I'm not sure which one's you're asking are Born's? The shoe's I posted are Anne Klein zebra espadrilles, Brighton wingtips, and Frye's. I have worn Born's before & they are VERY comfortable. I just always feel a bit more casual in them when I wear them though. I just took a bunch of my old summer shoes to Consignment a few weeks ago. Gosh did that feel good as they were just taking up precious space in my already tiny closet!

Kari, your comments didn't come off that way at all! Besides, it's good for us to hear how others see us so that we can evolve. Feedback is a gift! :)

LOP - you have some beautiful things! You should wear them, that's the best way to advertise they say. They are all sold too, you must be doing well with it!

Medusa, I do a lot of darker or neutral colors. I realized today as I had black top & jacket on with my jeans & was reading Angie's blog. LOL! It's a good reminder for me.

Encore, post pics. I love layering things up & finding different ways to wear them! I willl layer a couple of more dainty necklaces in the summer when it gets hotter & you don't want stuff sticking to you. Or, if it's a really hot day I might just wear earrins....

Anyway, thanks everyone!

My favorites were Wednesday with the pink jacket - it was interesting to see you in some ligher colors - and Tuesday when you wore the red tshirt and motorcycle jacket. You look great.

OMG! What a scare. I'm glad your son is all healthy and happy again!

You make everything look effortless with signature shoes and jewelry. I love your consistency about wearing jewelry.

We share a passion sounds like. I love working with beads and creating jewelry. When it comes to wearing them, I'm not so good. (Here's some of what I put together in the past: http://www.etsy.com/shop_sold.php?user_id=56867)

JewelryGirl, by the way, I hope my comment didn't come off as "you should only wear one piece of jewelry at a time." I don't think that at all because it wouldn't reflect your creative style. I just personally preferred the outfits I mentioned best, and part of this was because you were wearing several pieces but they were more minimal AND bolder. I don't know, I'm paranoid that my comments will come off as being prescriptive when I had the exact opposite intentions.
I usually shy away from wearing multiple accessories, but you have made me bolder about trying to wear more - two turquoise necklaces at once, wearing a belt AND necklace AND cardigan with "blingy" buttons at the same time.

Thank you everyone, believe it or not I actuallly wear less jewelry now than I did a year or so ago! I am also the girl that a few years ago never wore a single bracelet on my right wrist & only a tiny one or 2 a the most on my left. I could never wear large necklaces either...LOL! For me, my jewelry tastes have evolved over time. Angie, yes it is all mine - pretty crazy huh?! I doubt I wear 1/10 of what I have. I still have my favorites that you see repeated over & over though. Remember, I was pretty heavy in direct sales with Silpada for a year or so as a side passion. I still love the jewelry but my kids will only be around home for a few more years & they along with DH are my true passion! I also look at jewelry & still pick up a piece at different places on a regular basis. The bronze leather bangle I wore one of the days above was my latest fun find from our local little resale shop for $2! I think I'm on a bangle mission right now, I'm really having fun layering up some thin one's that I've picked up dirt cheap with others I love.

Funny about tthe animal print - that is probably about right on. I would still love to pick up something in the giraffe print. I've seen some awesome shoes posted in others pics on here - LOVE them!

KristenKP - You can get the Frye's on Zappo's. I got my black one's there. They say like only 1/2 or 1 1/2" heel but they layer more in the sole so I think it's actually higher than that. Kind of hard to explain. You can probably see what I mean on the close up shot on Zappo's though.

Funny thing is, I actually thought the denim moto jacket was almost too fitted or small when I bought it. I'm still getting comfortable buying what size I probably really am instead of a size bigger that's in my head. Glad I stuck with it though! It was a $20 steal on clearance in probably February. What I saved on the moto jacket I definitely spent on the crocheted cardi - yikes! It was purchased at a local boutique when I had a lot of extra disposable income. When I count the number of times I've worn it over the last couple of years it's more than paid for itself though!

Anyway, Thanks for the comments everyone!

Yikes! Glad your son is okay now.

I am yet again completely enchanted by your style. I love the way you make what could be bland pieces come together and made unique and eye-catching with your use of jewelry. The moto jacket is hands-down my favorite look; I think because the jewelry you have is more urban/modern, the similar look of the moto jacket is perfect for you.

I'm going to go against the crowd and say that for me what makes your style work is that you *do* use multiple pieces of jewelry; instead of having only one place where you are leading my eyes to go, there are many and that gives the whole look more animation and vivacity. It's similar to photography: there is a simple beauty in having one item be the focus of the shot, but there is also great appeal and life in a landscape photo where there is something new in every corner of the frame. I'm a hobbyist photographer, and the landscapes are infinitely more interesting to me. :)

Also, I really, really, REALLY want those cognac Frye's. I think I need to hit Zappos.

Oh how scary! Glad that he is more or less okay now.

I think you look beautiful all week, though my favorites are the outfits with the crocheted cardigan, leopard silk jacket, and the cropped moto jacket. Interestingly, these also seemed to be the outfits with most minimal accessories. My personal preference is along the same lines as what Sihaya mentioned. Since your jewelry pieces all make such strong statements, wearing less pieces at one time makes them more of a key focus.

That being said, I am completely wowed by your jewelry and shoes. Looking at the close-ups of the accessories in your posts always feels like digging through a jewelry box full of treasures. You are so creative to craft a necklace out of two identical bracelets!

Love, love, love your style. Hope things settle down for you at home - scary indeed. I love your use of color and bold patterns and of course every single piece of jewellery. My favorite is the zebra Etsy pendant. Since you have such wonderful jewellery pieces, I wonder if "less is more" would work even better. If instead of wearing earrings and necklace and bracelets on both wrists, I think your pieces might show up much more if you wore one or two pieces max at a time. Especiall since your shoes are such statement shoes too. This will draw the eye to a key statement piece and allow people to really focus on it and appreciate it. How would you feel about that?

It’s been a crazy couple of weeks. Annual garage sale (quite the success by the way) & then, my youngest was at the ER twice this week for a concussion during soccer. He’s fine, catscan showed normal & the headaches and tiredness are starting to wean off now. SCARY stuff though!! I managed to take some pics but am just now getting them up. Please let me know any feedback you have. Thanks a bunch ladies! Can’t wait to get caught up on some things! :)
