It's pretty casual, but could be dressed up a bit. Joy, I like the idea of the cream stone or glass pendant. That reminds me that I do have a pair of drop earrings with that irridescent pearl-like stone(can't remember the name of it).

The embroidery is around the neckline(which is square and quite flattering, I think!). So I think either a very long pendant necklace could work and not compete with the embroidery, or else just earrings. And Robin, I like your idea of the beaded bracelets and might have to look through my stash of beads and old jewelry and see what I can come up with. It might be fun to make a bracelet with some colored beads and tigers eye beads, which would tie in my tan sandals to the whole look.

Inge, I'm afraid I'm pretty novice with computers, but when I figure it out I'll link up a photo. Is it OK to repost this?

Like Joy said, a lot will depend on what sort of look you're going for.

If it's casual and a a little bohemian (which is what it sounds like to me based on what you're wearing it with and your other jewelry you mention) perhaps multi-coloured bead jewelry - maybe bracelet and earrings, or bracelet and necklace with simpler earrings. I think most colours would work. You'd just have to make sure they don't clash with the cream.

Where on the tunic is the embroidery?

Are you looking for a dressy or a casual look? What is the tunic neckline like? You might consider a cream stone or glass pendant on a leather cord that might not compete with the embroidery.

Hi Kerlyn,

Can you perhaps post a photo or a link to the tunic? That will make it easier for us to make specific suggestions.

Hi ladies! Just wondering if you might have some ideas for me. I have a new black tunic with cream embroidery and am wondering what jewelry might look best with it. I'll probably wear it with either blue jeans or black leggings and sandals.

I do have a black and white patterned top that I tend to wear with big silver earrings, rings, and bracelets. I also think a bright color like turquoise would look nice with that top. But I think the cream in this new tunic is throwing me off. Is gold a better option? What about wood accessories? Come to think of it, I do have some wood circle earrings and a few wood bead bracelets. I just don't want to end up looking like Mrs. Roper! Not that there's anything wrong with that! Any thoughts?
