To me, on my screen, these look like they would go well with olive. I have a couple of pairs of peridot studs and they are a lighter, clearer green. And I never thought of wearing them with olive, but then I don't wear a lot of olive.

There are other stones that come in shades of green, such as hematite. I have a favorite ring that has a hematite stone and I wear that with most colors.

The serpentine seems ideal to me for olive. It's like Aida and tr3kkie say.

Ann I think that the very fact that you're describing the peridot as a "not close enough" match to an olive military jacket is perfect for what you're after. Something in the right color family but with just a little difference. It will make both the jewelry and jacket more distinctive. I also personally really like copper with olive

When I think of greens,I think "nature" and they all seem to go together. I particularly like the color of those in the link as they look very spring-y to me

I've been loving my olive & black neutrals this winter, but I keep reaching for a pair of earrings that just aren't in my collection-yet. I have been looking at these serpentine earrings, and today I found some peridot studs that I like too.

I like them both, but I'm wondering if the peridot would be "not close enough" of a match for say an olive military jacket. What do you think of peridot and olive? Are there other semi-precious stones that have the same yellow-green, not turquoise color, to search for? I'm not wild about jade, as it tends to look a little too blue for my sense of olive.
