I have a couple of pairs of peridot studs and they are a lighter, clearer green. And I never thought of wearing them with olive, but then I don't wear a lot of olive.</p> <p>There are other stones that come in shades of green, such as hematite. I&nbsp;have been looking at these serpentine <a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.novica.com/itemdetail/?pid=190756">earrings</a>, and today I found some peridot studs that I like too.&nbsp;</p> <p>I like them both, but I'm wondering if the peridot would be "not close enough" of a match for say an olive military jacket.&nbsp;What do you think of peridot and olive? Are there other semi-precious stones that have the same yellow-green, not turquoise color, to search for? I'm not wild about jade, as it tends to look a little too blue for my sense of olive. </p>
