It’s set up as a reality competition where the interns are (supposedly) competing to be Jenna Lyons’s potential employees at a somewhat vaguely defined new personal and home style venture. But there are some ‘style tip’ segments that are reminiscent of WNTW.<br /> Anyway I also quite enjoy it! Even the interns. It’s interesting to realize the influence JL has probably had on my own style even as someone who was generally not consciously aware of her. I could do without the goofy young assistants competing — they just annoyed me, but I guess they appeal to the younger audience. I was just driven to distraction by thinking how much my eyes would be rolling if they worked for the small design firm I once worked for. Kind of fun ! I really like her and wish the show was all about her and not giving in to the reality show cliches like the campy “ best friend “ assistant etc . I saw another review of the show that was a bit more negative and also didn’t mention it was on Crave so I didn’t realize (probably that commenter was in the US and watched on another service). Loved it!<div>I enjoyed more watching Jenna and what she wears on the show than the competition part. Although I’m not into sparkles and high heels or bright colors for that matter, I still find her very inspirational and appreciate her tips on fashion and interior decor.<br />And I loved her personality and how open she is about her earlier body image struggles. I also like that she didn’t appear overly made up with every hair in place. She went grey!</div> </p>
