I think I'll count footwear, outerwear and accessories next. I'm not sure I'd have the focus for CPW but I'm thinking of creating a separate season capsules (fall, winter, spring, summer). It's easy for me to wear very different items in summer and winter but spring, fall and winter seem to run together. If I create more specific capsules for these seasons I could ballpark a cost per wear.</p> <p>Lyn, you're right! I think I'm a very bottom up dresser. My climate often dictates my footwear, which in turn dictates my bottoms - and then mostly I just hope the top doesn't look awful. Yay!!!! I thought I was a little obsessed. DH thinks so too.<br /> Agree with Jenn, my bottoms will be approx half of tops....<br /> I club leggings with hosiery and don't count them. But I count my outerwear clubbed with winter wear mostly. I also count my shoes, handbags. I have several items that transition but quite a few that don't.</p> <p>These numbers only reflect everyday wear. There are a lot of items I didn't count ...<br /> outerwear<br /> footwear<br /> accessories<br /> handbags</p> <p>I also didn't count specialty capsules ...<br /> Sleep<br /> Lounge<br /> Camping<br /> Other gear<br /> Special occasion</p> <p>Bottoms - 29<br /> Mostly denim which I wear up to 10 months of the year. I have some winter only denim (skinnies) and fall/spring (straights) and cool summer days (100% cotton). I have dark blue, medium blue and light blue, grey, white, black and burgundy. Total denim count = 14<br /> I also have 2 leggings, 3 joggers, 2 summer cargo pants, 2 summer skirts and 6 shorts (2 are on notice since I found 4 much more comfortable pairs this summer)</p> <p>Tops - 32 (tees, shirts, blouses and pullover sweaters)</p> <p>Toppers - 16 (mostly cardigans, 2 blazers and 2 vests)</p> <p>Dresses/tunics - 4 (mostly used as tops over denim or leggings)</p> <p>Thanks Jenn! </p>
