I LOVE them. &nbsp;To me, it looks like your foot is sliding forward in the heel too much. You need the room of the size, but it gives you enough room that you don't get a good anchor with the ball of your foot. I have not worn them around the house yet to test them out, but I think I see what you're talking about -- I am pretty sure it's just a result of the way my foot slides forward just a bit, the way any foot does in a heeled shoe. As you can see, there's extra room in the back.&nbsp;<br /><br />I think it will be OK, because I didn't feel any rubbing or pressure in these, the way I felt at the toe opening in the size 8 (these are an 8.5). In fact, these have a bit of extra room all around.
