My suggestion would be to get onto smartbargains.com and look at J. Brand jeans.

Oh, I should add that I like Gap jeans too. But the last couple of times I tried jeans on there I found myself between sizes.

Alison, I am a rectangle too. My latest favorite jeans are 1)a pair of black Calvin Klein skinny/straight jeans. I found them at an outlet for $4.90! 2)a pair of grey skinny jeans from Old Navy--$8. 3)a pair of Daisy Fuentes uber skinnies from Kohls--$9. 4)a pair of NineWest denim capris--I splurged at $25 from TJ Maxx. I bought them because they look amazing. DD22 calls them my "bootie jeans", because they create a butt--mine is pretty flat IRL.

As you can see I like a bargain. I love clearance racks, thrift stores, garage sales, you name it. My advice is try on everything. You will never know what something looks like on you without trying it on. Consider it an adventure--sometimes things are just laughable on me!

Hi, I've never been much of a jeans wearer, mainly due to the fact that I just don't like how jeans feel or look on me. Maybe I just haven't found the right pair yet.

Currently, I'm wearing Gap's Long and Lean edition of jeans, because I find that they are the right length and don't have too much jean-pocket patchwork, which I don't like. However, I'm not totally sold on them and am completely clueless as to what other brands to search in.

I was wondering if anyone had some suggestions as to what type of jeans would be better suited for a rectangle that a) are somewhat plain on the pocket-work and b) are budget friendly!

Thanks in advance!
