I don't typically have issues with pants sliding off, mostly it's just the dreaded baggy seat. Sounds like it's related to a mix of fabric content, pant style, and body shape. I was surprised to find them. They felt very nice. I wonder if levis 501s are back in style. Can't really find 100% cotton jeans anymore, it seems.. The only jeans I trust now read 98% cotton, 2% lycra. If it is a blend like you've posted I choose the snugger size since they 'always' stretch. </p> <p>I have actually washed 'dry clean only' pants in hopes of getting a snugger fit after 97% cotton, 3% elastane turned baggy and I was hitching them up all day (and could do like Lisap describes.). They look great with the ink blue Vince sweater from NAS. </p> <p>Not sure about sizing though. The fabric content is 57% cotton, 27% polyester, 15% rayon, 1% spandex. Not really denim, definitely not leggings. Are they less likely to stretch with the blend of materials? If so, I'll keep the larger size.</p> <p>Thanks! </p>
