They can look sleek and sophisticated to dress up (with your new jacket and shell! gorgeous!) and can also be dressed down with sneakers. You can even roll the hems a bit to show some ankle in warmer weather. Tuck them into boots in the winter. Seriously, where can't you wear these jeans? (answer: my workplace, but that's my running gripe. . . .) Nicely done! They are great looking. I started here at YLF with 2 pairs of jeans a few months ago. I have several new pairs and can't figure out how I used to get dressed without them! I thought the cropped and cropped flares would be the least worn, but I was wrong on that count, as I just keep reaching for them. I just adore them. They are still in great shape even though they get a lot of wear in the summers! Those look fun.  Sal on "Jeans Capsule" https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/jeans-capsule#post-1645810 Sun, 17 Apr 2016 20:26:37 +0000 Sal 1645810@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ I think you are wise to take it slowly, sounds like you have two winners here (putting aside the fieldwork jeans).   My jeans capsule is 4, but really I think it of as 3 because 2 are duplicates.  I only duplicated because it was 1 pair for $90 or 2 for $99 and this style I liked the best in the shop.   I own black skinnies, blue boyfriend style and blue crop skinnies.  Ideally I have decided five is the right number for me so I hope to add a pair of straight leg and a pair of bootleg or flares, maybe one in cream/ecru. I prefer blue denim to coloured for me. I love your new purchases. The two tweed pieces from BR are gorgeous and are absolutely denim-friendly. (I personally love dressing up jeans with pretty blazers and jackets). Anonymous on "Jeans Capsule" https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/jeans-capsule#post-1645694 Sun, 17 Apr 2016 16:00:06 +0000 Anonymous 1645694@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ Well, I have admired the denim capsules so many Forum members have.  I decided to slowly start to build a denim capsule for myself.   Background:  I currently own two pair of jeans.   1.  Old navy sweetheart blue jeans for field work.  These are utilitarian and I wouldn't choose to wear them for any other purpose.  2.  Old navy sweetheart white jeans for casual wear.  These were experimental.  I wanted to try Angie's white jean formula, but I did not want to invest a lot of money until I was certain I was comfortable with wearing white jeans.  I found I loved wearing them during summer months.  I wear them to work b/c I agree with Angie, they are suitably dressy for the office on Fridays.   What I bought: 1.  Kut from the Kloth Diana Jeans (shown below).  I just got these on Friday.  As other Forum members pointed out, they are indeed fabulous.  Rich dark color; fit great but not too tight in the knees; sufficient stretch that they feel like jeggings but look like jeans; don't stretch out in the knees or butt; don't transfer dye to lighter fabrics.  I plan on experimenting to see if I can wear these to the office.  I will pair them with a blazer to make them more office appropriate.
