You can also get the waistband slightly taken in at a tailor if these end up being a better fit than the 00s. I've had this done before and it was a very easy and inexpensive alteration.

Another vote for trying the 00's. The waistband looks a little too roomy to me.

I also wear my flared jeans on the baggy side, but mine are not the GAP L&L so I can't offer advice on how much they stretch (plus looks like you got good advice there). When you get the 00, definitely spend a bit of time in both pairs to see about how much they "grow" and whether you like the baggier or tighter fit. For what it's worth, I rather like the way these fit as they are now (assuming they don't grow TOO much) as long as the the waistband is taken in

Wow Suz what a lovely figure you have. I just wanted to say I think the jeans look great. I am not sure I have seen you in jeans before. Will be interested to see how the smaller size looks in comparison. I agree with Angie and with your figure you can carry off that look. I think a different body shape might not wear it so well. Hope to see more photos. I guess it also depends on what look you are actually wanting to achieve.

A belt would probably make them more comfortable, but if you don't want to NEED a belt to hold them up, then they are probably too big.

Thank you, Angie! I'm going to take it all under advisement. It looks as if I can order the OO online and that way I can compare; it's also at the sale price and delivery and returns are free, so it makes sense to try both. I do like the general look of these and do not presently own a flare jean, so I think it is a good deal at the sale price and worth trying in at least one size!

Personally, I like these jeans big! That's the way I wear them - always with a belt and tucked in top. I don't think they look as fab when they are tight.

I dropped two sizes in the Long and Leans, so they definitely run big. If they're that loose on you now, they'll be around your ankles in a matter of hours. Try the 00. The Long and Leans are best when they are form-fitting around the rear and thighs. They stretch out a tad from there and yet still show off your figure. Good luck!

Hi Suz! You look so pretty in your fall clothes.

I'm afraid I agree with the others on the jeans size...they will most likely "grow" after each wearing, which means they only look right straight out of the dryer. If they make a 00, try it for sure. It still may be too large.

Greenglove is so right. Don't settle! It would be a sin for your cutey-patootey to be hidden in baggy jeans!

A bit too loose- try 00. You have such a great figure- it is worth it to get the right size.

Hi Suz --

IM-Summer2010-E the L&Ls will stretch WAY out in the waist and caboose in one wearing, so you do not want them to start off like the pair you are modeling.

I'd go down to the 00, and wash/dry those on hot to help shrink them. You may still need to get the waist taken in -- I'd assess after wearing. No real reason to pay for getting the waist nipped if the butt's going to be all baggy.

Good luck! ps The color of that top looks great on you.

Wow you are tiny! Do they make anything smaller than a 0? If so I would try that to be sure. I am normally a 6, and ended up with a 2 in the Long & Leans. I think they are cut big and/or really stretchy. You can still order online and get 50% off today with code GAPDENIM. I would get both sizes and compare.

Here goes with the Long and Lean.

These are size 0 regular. They would definitely need hemming. Ankle length not available; not even online. (I am not sure if they make it.)

These got the nod from my husband. However, are they too big? Will they stretch? I don't actually mind how they feel but they do feel loose already. Should I aim for a lower size?

Thank you for your help!
