I think it all depends on whether you think the diameter of the stem will damage the fabric and will be visible once removed. Of course you also need a button of the type used on jeans. I am somewhat pear shaped so I carry my weight in my hips and thighs and waistbands are rarely too tight. Jeans slide down so they leave unsightly folds at the back of my legs. So I bought these cheap babies which work like stud earrings to move where your jeans button. They work even if your button and buttonhole are larger and eliminate having to wear a belt if you don't care to.</p> <p>Btw they also sell a button extender.</p> <p>Now I just have to stop reading the articles extolling the virtues of some cream (on sale now on Amazon!) that blurs wrinkles and has rave reviews by women in their 70s. Nothing like closing the barn door after the horse, cow, goat, and pig have escaped. </p>
