You guys must be able to read my mind. Reading your posts made me realize I was being a little mellow dramatic. You reminded me of a bunch of jeans that I've already loved and lost (read "out grew"). My current obsession with wide waistbands is the only reason I haven't repurchased some of these in my new size. They balance out curvy hips. I also think my friend who is an IT looks good with them since the volume at the bottom balances out her bust and shoulders. My favorite jeans are from American Eagle and Hudson, but I also really like these jeans from forever 21. Yup forever 21!!! They are very flattering and unfortunately they were far too long and when I got them tailored they turned into more of a straight bootcut then a flare, but oh well! They run tts and I like that they come in multiple lengths.</p> <p>I also like Joe's jeans. Mine are a higher waist style (visionaire) but the honey fit is lower rise and also fits pears well.</p> <p>Finally, I used to like red engine's Scarlett fit, and still have one pair although I find the rise a little too low these days. The garnet fit has a higher rise. I prefer low-rise bootleg or flared jeans with a wide waistband. The wider the better. Jeans with wide waistbands often lack back pockets, but I avoid pocketless jeans at all costs. </p> <p>It would be especially helpful if you could tell me the name of the exact style or give me a direct link, but general brand recs are welcome too. I'd also like to know whether the sizing runs small, large, or true to size in your experience, but it's fine if you don't know. </p>
