Take the hem or someplace else that won't show and rub it hard between two fingers, then let go. If it dents or mattifies, you will wind up with a slick and shiny behind and knees, and well as terrible wrinkle marks. This makes them pretty much a 3-wear wonder before they look awful. Matchstick was not skinny at all on me - much too wide leg. Toothpick I almost kept but they were a little off to be skinny slouchy - again too big in the ankle and calf. The color is beautiful and they would look good fitted too. Note that Gap also has blue velvet skinnies which I tried in a slightly brighter navy. They weren't as soft but much cheaper!
