I normally wear an XS or S in tops from Target, and my blue polka dot blouse (XS) is a wee bit too small in the sleeves. I generally wear a size 4 or 6 skirt and I bought the pleated one in both sizes but haven't decided which one fits best. I tried the bicycle dress in a S and the fit was pretty much spot on.</p> <p>Another shopping tip: Be sure to check the fitting room "go back" racks. There were literally seven items left on the racks. Surprisingly enough, two of those were trench coats--and one of those was in a size medium! I'm not very optimistic about the items I ordered now, however--the trench coat was pretty flimsy and just didn't look or feel expensive in the least. If the dresses are the same, they're going back. I saw one of the shirts I ordered, but in an XL. It looked huge, so I'm wondering if everything runs big. I guess I'll see soon enough. On the contrary, I would think the people wearing the designer line would be the ones feeling self-conscious wearing the real stuff when everyone else is walking around in the Target stuff. Like if you had a real Missoni sweater and everyone and their dog (didn't they have a dog cape or something in that line?) is wearing Missoni from Target, people might assume yours is the cheap stuff too! LOL! Also, that black dress doesn't have such a recognizable pattern as the Missoni stripes or floral print so I don't think it will matter at all. If you are thinking of going later today, you might not want to bother--it's going to be pretty picked over. I went out to Target this morning with the kids, didn't get there till about 8:45 (they open at 8 but it takes me half an hour to drive there so I couldn't make it by 8). It was pretty crowded, everyone had at least 5 or 10 items in their hands. I asked someone and they said the accessories all went within the first couple minutes. There was stuff on the rack but nothing in small or medium, it was all L or XL. I grabbed a cat tee in large and one blue and red jersey dress in small but I just tried it on now and I don't think I'm keeping it so if anyone wants it let me know. The fabric on these dresses is much thinner than it looks online (like thin T shirt material) so I think these will mainly be casual weekend wear rather than work wear. </p> <p>If anyone has a cat tee in M or S and wants to trade for my L, let me know! Otherwise I'm just going to wear it baggy under cardigans. Or if anyone happens to find a cat tote or scarf or S/M cat tee at the store or a size 6 navy poplin dress, I'd gladly pay you for it. However, starting at 1:00 a.m. EST they started trickling out certain items. You couldn't find them on the Jason Wu link--you had to go to specific sections. So, for example, if you went to target.com, clicked Women, and then Dresses, there were three dresses that were options, including that navy blue dress with the red stripe at the bottom. Target didn't announce they were doing this, so you had to figure it out on your own. I figured it out at about 1:03 a.m., and the blue dress was already gone in size 4 and in size 6, so I couldn't buy it. I checked back about five minutes later and it was gone in every size. I also wanted the light blue skirt, and managed to get two (4 and 6) in my cart, but in the three seconds it took me to check out, they were gone. </p> <p>I did get a LOT of stuff, because I figured I would see what I liked and then return. I got a couple of dresses, the cat tote, tee, and scarf, a purse, a clutch/wristlet, and four tops (unfortunately, cap sleeves, but I would only wear them under suits).
