As for the red and black - I have looked at your red and black combo (with the red jeans) and it is soo great! I think you should definitely consider keep on wearing it. Angie, you have made my day - again! Your opinion is very important to me, thank you! As outdoor toppers I usually wear a burgundy 3/4 long coat or a camel wool duffle coat (almost full length). If it is really cold - which is not so often - I wear a red long puffer or a black warm parka. My coats are bought so they would fit on top of jackets, because I wear jackets all the time. Shevia and Tanstaafle - I am so glad you think the outfit is modern. It is something I often wonder about, because I am drawn to clothes which to me have a kind of a timeless quality and I am very loyal to my clothes - I try to buy investment pieces I absolutely love and then I want to keep them forever. I have to pay attention so my looks don´t get dated.     Toban, thanks for the lovely compliments. What I like about scarves is that they can be worn in so many ways and one can create so many shapes. I like mine often worn long, as I try to elongate the look and brake up suits and monochrome pieces. There are many ways to wear scarves short, close to the neck, to imitate a necklace - this way you can create the same effect as wearing a shorter necklace. Your necklaces are superb, but if you would sometimes feel like wearing a scarf, you sure should. I am still trying to put together daily outfits from my wardrobe using as many various items as possible with as little repeating items as possible. Items within the challenge are bottoms, tops, indoor toppers and scarves. Repeating footwear, bags and jewellery is ok and outdoor toppers are not included at all. I also try to find for me new combinations and to employ some wardrobe orphans. Today, I continue with pairing black with blue. Today, I put together 2 outfits with a thin black leather jacket, which is one of my favourite items. It is soft, thin and does not have any lining, but it is warm enough to be used as an indoor topper wintertime. No 1 consists of the leather jacket, blue wool trousers (part of my blue suit, used earlier in outfit 13), silk scarf, blue/grey metallic patterned booties and a grey bag. I am trying to use the black and blue combination more often now, it is rather new to me. I have got the inspiration from YLF forum members - especially Sterling (thanks Sterling :-)!. No 2 - I use the same jacket, red wool trousers (same as yesterday, outfit 21), black top, silk scarf, grey-olive bag and black boots. So what do you guys think? I am grateful for honest feedback, ideas or whatever comes to mind.
