I do put a ban on myself twice a year - normally for 6-8 weeks. I am on one now - four weeks in and hoping to make 8. </p> <p>I also find a number helpful - trying to keep the closet or purchases under a certain level. </p> <p>For me this year<br /> - no more heels - low heels fine but not mid or high. I have five pairs which is plenty.<br /> - no more evening dresses - I have about five I love - all current and modern.<br /> - no more tops I can’t layer over.
