I bought it when we were business casual and I’ve continued to wear it when as casual has given way to athleisure. I think that it’s the unexpectedness of it that makes it hard to define, and lets it be its own thing. It’s taffeta plaid-in a Chanel cut.<br /> I debated which boots to wear today, the patent leather combat boot , which at least to me, is a whole other contradiction, or the black pointy toe Chelsea boot.
