Thanks for this. I have an order for a pair of grey straight legs coming from Amazon. Its a gamble for me getting them shipped to Oz but the price and shipping still worked out cheaper than what I would need to pay here. Also I have found it impossible to find grey jeans here. I'm usually travelling at least 4 times a year so heres hoping...

My Jag pull-ons are my travel jeans. They look like regular jeans when I wear them with a sweater but are as comfy as sweats on a long flight or car ride. Mine are a narrow straight which fit like a loose skinny on me.

I size down to avoid slippage but I do think they would work best on an IT or rectangle shape. I'm an IT with non-existent hips so pulling them on isn't a problem, but my curvy, hourglass sister finds them hard to pull on if she fits them to her waist size and also complains hers slide down during the day.

I too had some from a couple of years ago. I had to significantly size down, but they were super super comfy. I agree that I had to pull on them quite a bit since they'd slide during the day. I passed on them this spring as well. I'd buy them again - and recommend as well. What I liked was that there was no bulge for belts etc. Glad you like yours!!!

I had tow pair that I bought at NAS two years ago, blue and black. I wore them a lot but found as they aged they became looser and the sliding down you describe drove me nuts. I passed them on last spring.

I have Jag pull-ons as well as Jag normal type jeans, both in Petite sizes. I am pretty sure I had to take different sizes in the different styles. I am slightly pear shaped with a low waist, so I get smaller above my hips pretty quickly so I got waist gap in my pull-ons. I had the waist taken in about .75 - 1.0 inches. Big mistake. I have to shimmy every time I pull these babies up. Very annoying. I made thread belt loops in the middle of the back and on each side. It enables me to wear a wide belt without it slipping and sliding around and to tuck or semi-tuck if I so choose.

I agree that this style would work best for apple, rectangle, or IT shapes.

Thanks for the review...interesting. I have wondered about the pull-on jeans. They seem like an option for those days when we need a bit more comfort around the middle

I know that several of us have or have considered buying the Jag pull-on jeans so I thought I'd write a quick review once I'd worn mine a bit. I found them at TJ Maxx - they are bootcut and dark denim, with the usual front and back pockets. They do come up higher on the waist than my regular jeans, but it's comfortable because of the elastic waist. The model I bought was actually a plus-size 14, but similar to the one in the Finds below. I don't know if the plus sizes and regular sizes differ in fit. (A note on length: they are long enough for me with flats, but a little short for wearing with heeled boots or wedges.)

Overall I'd call my happiness level with them a B. I've got a big difference between waist and hip, and I find that I end up tugging the waist up on them fairly frequently. I might be able to tighten the elastic somehow but haven't tried it yet. When worn with shirt untucked, they look identical to regular jeans. The thing that makes them really handy is that they are wonderful for traveling. You can sit in them all day and not feel constricted or uncomfortable. I don't know that I'd wear them all the time, or buy more than one pair, but it's great to have them around for those days when you are stuck in the car or on planes all day. I think they would work great for anyone who's just had a baby, has abdominal issues or had surgery, or is an apple/rectangle shape.

(FYI, Jag also makes regular fly-front jeans as well, and I've seen some other brands start to do pull-on versions as well.)
