Not all jackets are created equal: Some are meant to be 3/4-length sleeves, bracelet-length sleeves, etc. Here's a link to a post which addresses coat sleeve length: http://youlookfab.com/2009/11/.....it-a-coat/ . I tend to aim for that same length if the jacket is meant to have full-length sleeves.

Looks like mine is fine - It just feels long.

I usually have sleeve issues. Here's a jacket as it came #1 and after taking it to a tailor #2. She chose the length but I kept trying to make it just a tad longer, perhaps because I'm so used to sleeves being long. #3 is a juniors jacket, so a little shorter than stock ladies small, and #4 and #5 are petite ladies size jackets. The last 3 all untailored. I'm 5' 4 1/2" HTH

A winter jacket? Covers your wrists ... otherwise they would be cold!

How long should the sleeve of a jacket be?

I bought on the other day but it feels too long.
