Hello Anne!
I think I bought the jacket last autumn or winter; certainly it was last year. The label says "Spoilt". I've tried to find something online to point you to, but can't. The current JeansWest site just has black jackets and vests (including a nifty little black pleather bomber jacket but that's not what you want!). Sorry not to be more help.

Hi Robyn - yes we have Jeanswest over here and even in my town. Is it from this season?

Thanks, ladies, that's a great help.
Anne, the denim jacket came from Jeans West - possibly a national chain?
I'm thinking of adding darts at the back to the red jacket so it's a bit more fitted.
Angie, I've been meaning to say how good it was to hear your voice in the tv show. You sound lovely! And I'm always impressed by the constructive and cheerful tone of your blogs and the forum ladies' comments.

Bravo Robyn for taking ALL those pictures! The outfit with the denim jacket looks fabulous – it’s also because you’re wearing an A-line skirt (one of your best silhouettes). I’m with Imogen and Anne and echo their thoughts. I hope that helps.

Robyn,
I though the denim jacket outfit looked great (what a great jacket - could I ask where you got it?), and so did the red jacket with the skirt. It was hard to see the detail on the long black jacket but I suspect that would look better with jeans or trousers

I like a hip length jacket as it draws the eye upward and away from the thighs, visually elongates your legs and gives you great proportions.

Thank you for the nice welcome, Angie. I'm sorry, you didn't ask for War and Peace but here it is: http://s382.photobucket.com/al.....1/Jackets/
Apologies for incorrect length of jeans, t-shirt, no accessories, jewellery and makeup - I'm really doing the cleaning today!

Welcome, Robyn! I like pretty pears in both hip bone length jackets and tunic length jackets (with heels). A good length on a jacket will also depend on HOW pear shaped you are. If you’re slightly pear shaped, you’ll get away with more varied jacket lengths. I hope that makes sense. If you post a picture, we can help you out more accurately.

I'm wondering about a good length for jackets for pretty pears - specifically me, with a long back and short legs. This is to wear with straight or bootleg pants, and with knee-length skirts. (And thanks YLFers for encouraging me to take up my skirts.) Perhaps different lengths are needed for different outfits?
Jackets that hit at hipbone height reveal bottom, behind; jackets to mid-thigh look a bit strange with just a few inches of skirt below, especially if I'm wearing boots, which further cut up the line.
Advice please!
