I really hope the metallic leather is hard wearing as I had a gold bag and some gold sandals that did a similar thing to your Philip Lim bag. It reminded me an IRO silver leather jacket with white shearling that I had wanted last year, but didn't deem necessary. &nbsp;All-black seemed more versatile and more durable than metallic silver, &nbsp;and I didn't spend enough time outside to think this kind of splurge necessary. This year, with my new commute, a shearling leather jacket would be really practical, though technically still unnecessary in a world of parkas and puffers. </p> <p>When Cyber Monday hit, I decided to try this jacket out. It's a fun jacket that breaks the monotony of my tiny nursing/work wardrobe. It was the last one, and&nbsp;may be a size too big, though I don't think sizing down would result in a more comfortable fit. I'm wearing a merino shirt underneath here, and it feels quite cozy, though the arms feel slightly stiff.</p> <p>If people here think it's good enough, I'd consider keeping it. My concern is that the silver leather might crack and flake off, as happened to a Philip Lim clutch of mine, but the jacket seems well made otherwise.</p> </p>
