I really like their shoes. They are simple, come in great colors and are great quality. I like that they always have metallics, since I love a metallic shoe. I have found that the store near me does not carry the large shoe collection you see online, so expect that when you make the trip. They aren't super supportive, but it really depends on what you need. If you have picky feet, they may not be the ones, but they are definitey well made so they aren't uncomfortable.

Hi TalloneinOr

I have bought quite a few JCrew shoes, and I think you are right: no padding or support. These shoes are not made for people with fussy feet. I have ballet flats, sandals, flip-flops, and heels from the store. The heels are about as comfy as heels ever are. The flip-flops were actually really comfortable. The sandals and ballet flats can be stiff. I like the styles of the JCrew shoes, and I really haven't found any others that appeal to me. But, as I said, if your feet need a lot of support, these probably aren't for you.

Has anyone tried J. Crew shoes before? Some of them really appeal to me, but there doesn't seem to be any sort of padding or support in them, so I almost feel like I would be paying for fancy Italian leather instead of a supportive AND attractive shoe. There are always sales, but what are your thoughts? Will you also tell me what type you have tried (sandals, boots, flats, heels)? I am several hours from a store and have only seen their items online, so I'd like some feedback so I'm more informed before I walk into the store! Thank you!
