Maybe ask Angie?</p> <p>I have to say I noticed the J Crew petite sizing seemed off by a full size when I ordered my black silk shirt. I pored over the sizing charts of both J Crew and Banana Republic and after much hesitation decided to order a size 4 Petite. The reason for my hesitation was that just last month I bought a BR shirt in size 2P and it fit me perfectly. The corresponding size chart measurements for J Crew indicate a 4P. Pencil skirts are pretty easy to make and probably quicker than some alterations. I can do it up but if I ever want to sit or breathe, it's not going to work :(</p> <p>So back it goes. I might have considered sizing up but lo and behold, there isn't a larger size in petite. Great. Just when I'd gotten to a good stage about my weight gain, I discover I don't fit into J Crew sizes. Now I feel like crap.</p> <p>Instead I'll focus on NAS and hope that something there will fit. </p>
