Bearing in mind I'm 5'0," I can tell you that the XS Jackie cardigan (which I tried on last week) fit me well in the shoulders, bust, waist, but was too long, so just looked sloppy on me. I will tell you that I normally wear a medium in J Crew but I ended up with a large in the Jackie cardigan as it runs a little tighter. My Jackie cardigans have held up nicely so far. Crew cardigans and plan to buy more. I find the fit really flattering. Even the ones with tiny front pockets look good on me, though I usually try to avoid bulky details in my clothes.
