But the personal shopper I was working with brought a bunch of pumps including these for me to try with the suit. Since I was looking to replace my uncomfy black pumps, I was very interested in what she brought. </p> <p>I liked the lower heel on these. I also liked the pointy toe, which I feel conveys authority when worn with a suit. (As an aside, I was a little surprised at one of the recent conversations about pointy toed shoes coming back. I never new they were out.) I wore them for a while while trying clothes on in the dressing room and thought they were comfortable enough.</p> <p>I've now had the chance to wear them for a whole day a couple times. I am really impressed by how comfortable they are. I don't know that these will qualify as 8 hour shoes, but I am thinking they will work for me and my requirement for shoes that can withstand traipsing around the halls of the Capitol. </p>
