I left my vest by the windowsill after the sun came out and that sped up the drying process. My shoes took hours to dry so I couldn't even leave the office to get lunch until now. I just wish I had a hair straightener right now because my hair has waved up in a very messy and frumpy way. I got soaked beyond belief. The irony was that this morning I was a few minutes late because I had to blowdry my bangs (they are due for a trim so I need to blowdry them to keep them out of my face). By the time I got back, I looked like I just went down Niagara falls in a barrel. My vest is dripping wet and air drying on the back of my chair, my leggings are still damp and sticking to my legs, and I had to take my sandals off (which are cork, ugh, hope they don't rot) to let them and my feet dry. I feel awful right now. Not only do I look terrible since my hair is a disaster, I'm all damp, cold, and uncomfortable (air conditioning doesn't help). I must have used an entire tree's worth of towels trying to dry myself off, but it only goes so far. Of course it stopped raining within minutes after I got to the office.</p> <p>Rant over. </p>
