It is hard sometimes to hear a lot of people tell you how great you are, know what I mean? I just watched the full 30 minute video last night with elderly neighbors who had recorded a message, and was delighted all over again by the variety of people and messages. And our neighbors were proud of themselves. My guess is that this will be a treasure in years to come, especially as loved ones pass away, 9 year old cousins become grown up men, etc....It's a real time capsule. Laurie on "It's here - grad week" https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/its-here---grad-week#post-2121622 Mon, 18 May 2020 18:56:17 +0000 Laurie 2121622@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ As they say at the United States Coast Guard Academy, just 2 sleeps and a wake up left until commencement on Wednesday.  I have received over 30 video messages for our son, including his grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins, childhood friends, neighbors, family friends who have known him since he was born, a RADM who was theSuperintendent of the Academy his first 3 years and another RADM, and several currently serving or veteran Coasties, all with sage advice, fond memories, and hearty congratulations. Thanks again for the suggestion ( I can't find the thread ....who gave me this great idea?), and I hope he's blown away by all of the love. Sending best wishes to all others with events this week. I'll be back to post later this week.
