But three years ago I found one of the rare pairs of pants that fit my body, and I was thrilled beyond words. I felt fabulous, despite being close to my all-time high in weight. Hello my lovelies. It's been awhile since I have posted with any regularity. That was due in large part to my feeling "less than fab" due to weight gain.</p> <p>While I am working on losing the weight that I have gained (investigating thryoid issues, changing up my eating habits, and swapping up my workouts), I still was not feeling fab, and thus avoiding YLF. </p> <p>Over the weekend, my huband and I took a trip to Atlanta. Our goal was simply to enjoy a night as husband and wife rather than our full time roles of Mommy &amp; Daddy. As part of the trip, the hubby suggested we do some shopping at the local outlet mall. I have to admit that I was not really excited at the prospect (see above) but I agreeded to see if the racks at Ann Taylor Outlet held any treasures. </p> <p>Upon entering the store, a lovely sales associate greeted me and started a conversation about my current wardrobe, lifestyle, etc. Before I knew it, I was in a dressing room with a dozen items. And time after time, I came out in looks that I loved. I felt confident, sexy, powerful - things I hadn't felt in quite some time. And the only thing that changed is that I was wearing clothes that fit my new shape properly - rather than forcing myself into ill-fitting items.</p> <p>I say all that to say this - I am back! I look forward to rejoining the fun on YLF! </p>
