The transition is rough for lots of people in the beginning. But your hair is short so it will transition very (relatively) quickly! The first three months were the worst for me. Lots of info on this online if you search, &amp; lots of great videos on youtube if you search gray hair transition. Lots of women have recorded their process. Some women use root spray or powder until the gray is a little longer. Once that happens it looks more intentional.<br /> Literally everyone says their hair is so much healthier and even better-they all say they have new hair growth where there wasn’t before! I won't say the transition is easy but it will go faster with your relatively short hair, and the demarcation between blonde and grey is much less severe than it is when you have been dying your hair your original very dark brown (like me). Yes, don't go too short (do as I say, not as I do!). Not because I don't think it would look good, but one adjustment at a time.<br />Anyway, love the blazer and loafers on you. I wear blazers frequently and have not worked in a blazer environment ever. I did not have the time and patience for upkeep, so haven’t done hair color.<br /> I do think I benefit from fairly frequent professional cuts ( short hair) which, after my haircut guy- barber retired last fall, ending my $20 haircuts, are going to cost a lot more, so that’s my focus for keeping, or changing, my hair to fit my face and style.<br /> And of course, you can always do hair color again- not that you should, but just that it’s not a permanent life decision- that's the great thing about hair cuts and coloring. It’s our attached accessory ! </p>
