When I had long hair I used to have to carry a mini can of Static Guard and spray it on a hairbrush and brush through my hair a few times a day. Or something like this. </p> <p>Another way you can do it is to pin a very tiny piece of metal (ie: safety pin) to the inside hem of your skirt... or so I've heard. This drives me nuts!! I have trouble wearing certain types of fabrics because I become a walking ball of static electricity, and look ridiculous with my clothes clinging to me for dear life. Does anyone have any suggestions for preventing or getting rid of this problem? Someone once suggested hairspray, but that doesn't seem to help at all. </p>
