I've looked for and not found a dark denim classic sleeveless sheath dress. Lately I've spent hours at a good mall with fantastic sales and come home empty handed. The small sizes just don't stick around for big sales I'm learning.

I agree, there are plenty of times when I come home empty handed and wonder why I am such a strange shape. But then it makes the times I do come home with a few gems that much sweeter. Good luck next time!

eh eh.. I've missed your sense of humour!

There is nothing more annoying that whanting to buy and finding nothing!

I'm looking also for structured dresses and I have the same problem.. don't fit well on my boobs.. keep trying! Try a lot I'm sure you'll find one that fits or one that can easily be taylored.

Magda, ever looked for a denim jacket that zips instead of buttons? I have the same jacket-fit issues as you and that's been a good solution for me. I know Angie has given permission to wear a jacket that won't close even if it fits everywhere else, but I like having the option to close it. Zips seem to solve that problem a lot more easily for me.

I bought many nice goodies, but I still feel unsatisfied. I couldn't find those things:

- a denim jacket. Oh, there were many denim jackets in stores, but every one I tried wasn't good. When it fitted my shoulders and waist, I couldn't button it. On the other hand, when I took a bigger size that could accomodate my umm... ample bosom ;), it was too big in any other place. They're all sewn for boyish, flat chested girls... or what?

- summer boots. I'm not counting leopard print Uggs I saw, because I wouldn't wear these atrocious things no matter what.

- structured dresses that would fit my shape. I know that I'm more curvy than an average woman, but I have a feeling that most dresses were designed for cross-dressing guys. How can a dress have the same amount of fabric in front and back (and almost no waist definition as well)? Women DO have boobs and therefore, they require more space in front. I thought it was obvious...

Ah, sorry for my rant. Shopping for clothes can sometimes make me feel like an anomaly of sorts.
