Wise Shopper, it’s more than a coincidence, it’s stuff I’ve been watching on the Nordstrom site after checking things out during NAS, and going yay, nay, next on items I’ve ordered. I put all of these items in the post because it was easier to collect Finds from one store( site) at a time.

In terms of “Next”, see ETA test skirt does not work for me. Onward!

What a coincidence that all of the items you are considering are from Nordstrom and with affiliate link to them. Just saying

I love my burgundy crop flares from NAS last year. The most comfy pants I own. You inspire me to get a burgundy top to go with

Thanks, Angie. Great blouse— I have never tried Hobbs before.
I had some BR burgundy fine-wale corduroy last year but the no longer fit, even if altered. I have ALMOST found pants st WHBM because they keep doing their styles in different colors year to year, but fit was off last year, too ice- cream cone. And some buguyfsbris I’ve tried did nit translate well in that color. So it’s a wardrobe hole for trying to put together some tonal nearly- neutral outfits.

Good job editing and reviewing your pants, unfrumped.

You need burgundy pants - surprised you don't have any yet? Bet they look great.

The stripe is fab. I like this for you too.

Heh-heh, great color trickery on the blouse. Too bad it isn’t in the same price range as the pants.

I’ve owned 2 suede skirts in my life, one midi length and one mini, both tan in color. I wore them both exactly the same way, as winter skirts, with cream-colored tights and sweater. Tall brown boots for the long, tall or short for the short. If they and I end up being the same size again, I’ve been thinking I’d like to be more adventuresome about the top, but expect I’ll always pair them with boots.

Great finds, that is a really fun skirt. I wonder how it would look with tall boots? Or booties and tights?

Love the pleated leather skirt, it would be very easy to dress it down with a loose t-shirt for day or with a dressy blouse for an evening look. Good choice!

Thanks , Jane.
Yes, the stripe kind of “ reads” light blue or gray in the stock photos though it is actually a white and black stripe. But that is what intrigued me. I know I like striped blouses where there’s a small amount of light stripe on a deeper background ( instead of the usual reverse), but I generally would look for a version at a lower price point.

Good thinking on how to expand your wardrobe and well done with the review of your pants.

I think the colour looks good. It’s a pity that they need to be adjusted for the waist, but I like the style and the pockets! I like the striped blouse too. Is it a white or a blue stripe - I’m thinking of Angies capsule ice blue and burgundy- I love those colours together.

I haven’t seen the skirt IRL, but it looks good. I think I’d have the concerns you have about bare legs / tights / seasonally confused.

I think I was inspired by my plaid blazer to work harder on adding color, even if “ Nearly neutrals “ and true neutrals other than black, in both tops and pants. I’d like to work on more tonal columns of color in medium, not- black.

I culled about 15 pairs of pants this summer and have been experimenting with some different fits
I found some khaki pants at BR for a song, unexpectedly, and have been enjoying them after the Lewit khaki pleated pants did not work. No Find just now, but they are Avery fit cuffed ankle pant.
I wanted to add bugundy pants and tried these Nordstrom ones, but size was too big, realized no belt loops, and they were an in- between length. I did like the buttons as accent.

Of course I’d not really searched for color, so when I did, I found Vince had added a burgundy in the coin pocket style. I decided to try them before considering sizing down in the Nordies Signature.

They arrived today and are more of a true burgundy, and I just like the silhouette better. They also are more ankle length. Would still have to tailor the waist, though belting helps. I have several tops and shoes that can be used to create a tonal and/ or matchy look.

Just randomly, I like the color and stripes of this Frame shirt. They also made the same shirt fabric in more of a classic shirt or pajama style, available via another dept store. Prolly too speedy for how much I could wear it. In the photos, the black & white stripes look softer than either color— but not sure how it looks IRL.

Finally, really going toward my imaginary lifestyle, this faux leather skit caught my eye with its stitched- down pleats, which I love. I wonder if anyone had seen IRL? It might be hard to do footwear— it’s often shown with pumps and nude leg. That would be seasonally confused for me except for dressy occasions.

ETA : skirt came in and, almost glad, it does not work for me. I think it is TTS, but it is more bulky at the thigh than it looks on the model and is just too much skirt for me. It IS a soft flexible faux leather.
