The first few times I wear it , I justify telling myself it's not "that" itchy, it's so cute it's worth it ...etc etc. As the novelty of the new sweater wears off I find myself reaching for it less and less until eventually I just can't bring myself to wear it knowing that there will always be some level of discomfort with it. The mohair is doing its thing, it can be quite itchy. It's a lovely sweater but it may also be too warm for LA. Plus if it's mostly acrylic it will not " breathe" and therefore it will be super warm and itchy on top... Maybe return and get something else. I think you mentioned before that you are into knitting. So disappointing for something that looks so soft and cozy. It's mostly acrylic, with maybe 10% mohair.</p> <p>I suppose I can keep it by wearing a long sleeved tee underneath, but that might add too much warmth for LA. &nbsp;</p> <p>It was only $59, so I don't mind keeping it to wear as a top layer. &nbsp;Guess I will wear the heck out of it as long as it is cold here. &nbsp; </p>
